I'm most likely playing this.
or... I might be playing this...
and sometimes I break these guys out.
I'm a gearhead. I'm assuming if you clicked on this link, you are too. This project is very stripped down, but everything has been chosen carefully for the sound and ease of set up and tear down.
The PA is a set of Bose S1 Pros.Floor Pedal: BOSS VE-8 Acoustic Processor. In ear monitors: Xvive. Mic: Sennheiser E835
Outside of the stripped down live show, all bets are off. In the studio I use KORG synths, primarily a Nautilus and a SV-1 Stage Piano. I still have an 01-wfd in the studio that I break out occasionally. I keep a Roland Fa-06 on the rack for a different feel from the Korgs.
Guitar wise, I play several strats, a tele, a SG, and a Japanese made offset Fender Tele that I love. I use Laney, Fender, and Orange amps on both The "Stay Home" album and "Nothing Personal." with more pedals than I care to admit. The bass on both albums is an Epiphone Firebird through a Peavey amp.
Drums are sequenced or a small Pearl kit that I keep in the studio.
The weird stuff includes a 1970s Fender Mandolin as well as a 2000s era Epiphone mando. A crazy old accordion from the Highlands of Scotland graces the studio as well as several Fender Harmonicas. My favorite instrument, which can be heard on "Coastline Stomp" is my Goldtone Irish Bouzouki.
